HIAA Sponsorship of CAA Panel, Chicago, February 12-15, 2020

HIAA will sponsor a session at CAA’s Annual Conference in Chicago, February 12-15, 2020. We are now asking for proposals from HIAA members for the Session Soliciting Contributors category.  This option allows a submission for a full session (90 minutes in length) with yet-to-be identified speakers and papers/projects. HIAA’s session will be included in the CAA call for participation (CFP) which opens June 25.  Please see http://collegeart.org/programs/conference/proposalsfor full details. Proposals are due 20 April 2019 and should be submitted by email to Amanda Phillips at sec.hiaa@gmail.com as a two-part attachment:  

•  a cover sheet with the organizer’s name, academic status, contact information (postal address, e-mail address, telephone number/s) and title of proposed session; and
• an abstract of no more than 250 words that describes the proposed session.

Notification will be sent by 25 April. Please note that all those selected to present must be members of HIAA. In addition, by the time the panel is submitted to CAA, presenters must be members of CAA and register for the conference; please see the CAA website for details.
