Support for those affected by the earthquakes in Syria and Turkey
Dear HIAA Community,
It is with heartbreak that we hear every day of the tragic effects and aftereffects of the earthquakes that have devastated parts of Syria and Turkey in the past week. Some of you have asked how we may help, as individuals and as an organization. I hope that those of you attending CAA will join us at the business meeting (Friday, February 17, 1 PM; Madison Suite 2nd Floor, Hilton Midtown) to discuss the tangible ways in which we may offer support – from creating networks of care, to participating in efforts for reconstruction and humanitarian aid. If you are unable to attend, please send along your ideas or make use of our public forum on Facebook. Our community can serve to publicize information on relief efforts and post information on reputable groups that are providing relief to earthquake victims.
