HIAA Sponsored Panel at CAA 2025

For a panel session soliciting contributors, the organizer proposes a title and abstract to later solicit individual presentations during CAA's Call for Participation, circulated in late July. Individuals then submit paper proposals directly to the panel organizer. The dedicated session will be identified in the conference schedule with the name of the Historians of Islamic Art Association.

Proposals are due APRIL 17 and should be submitted by email to HIAA Secretary Emily Neumeier at sec.hiaa@gmail.com as a single PDF document with the following included:
cover sheet with the organizer’s name, academic status, contact information (postal address, email address, telephone number/s) and title of the proposed session;
an abstract of no more than 250 words that describes the proposed session. Notification will be sent by April 25.

Please note that all those selected to present must be members of HIAA. Additionally, participants of the selected panel are also required to be CAA members by the final deadline of submission.
